Over the last 16 years, these partnerships forged with clients and suppliers clearly demonstrated this ideology with success and growth for all those involved. We also look to help create associations and partnerships between our clients to assist with their mutual growth.
History
Established in May 1994 by brothers Darren and Peter Bell with the motto “taking the fear out of technology”, Techno Phobia began from humble beginnings providing products and services to home users before securing its first contract with national retailer Brashs. Following this, contracts with Harvey Norman and Clive Peeters were established, where Techno Phobia was engaged to supply their end user with support and training. This continued for the next 6 years where the main area of focus was the emerging home and domestic market.
In the year 2000, Techno Phobia changed directions and began to concentrate its focus towards an area that was being overlooked, the SMB market. This was an area that Techno Phobia’s founders saw an opportunity to provide a complete solution, and not just a mix match of individual services and products. This was also the beginning of Techno Phobia becoming a critical element in the successful running of many small and medium businesses in Melbourne and interstate.
In recent years, Techno Phobia’s company motto has evolved to become “Imagine one number for all your IT solutions... imagine no more...“. This was introduced to encompass our complete business solutions packages that are able to be provided through one number, one website and one team.
