Your computer has several air intakes to keep the system running cool and efficient. You would be surprised by the amount of dust that ends up in your system as a result. Excessive dust will raise the internal temperature of your machine and cause it to overheat.

Our standard hourly rates apply as well as a $10 fee per computer. We will provide you with a free canister of dust - away which you can use to maintain the computer until our next visit. On average we would expect to be able to do 2-4 computers per hour.

The CPU fan and heat sink, power supply and system fans typically require the most attention. You can book one of our technicians to perform this service for you using our portable air compressor.

Possible symptoms of overheating include:

- Create Noisy fans.
- Poor system performance.
- Windows can spontaneously restart when a computer overheats and may result in software and data corruption.
- Hardware can be irreparably damaged.

Depending on your environment we recommend using pressurised air to remove dust from your computers every 6 months.
